With simple healing factor based regeneration … unlikely … with Time Reversal/Event Negation effect … yes (even with attacks that involve subatomic destruction … possibly also allows to – to a certain degree – recover from attacks that destroy the soul or target one’s existence), most likely. With conceptual effects like Existence Preservation effects and/or Existence Restoration effects … most certainly. Doesn’t necessarily mean that his healing factor is going to save him from nasty stuff like curses, transmutation (into trees, to stone, ecetera) or toxic susbstances, though.

well she do’s not know about radiation all she knows that attack was a fire type with poison mix with it and she stated she cant get all of it…..i bet if you show her the long term effect of high radiation poisoning she try to heal all of it. (Symptoms are the following: Hair loss, Stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, leucopenia, Red and itchy skin, oral mucositis, fatigue, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, fever, headache with bleeding and complications affecting the digestive system, nervous system, heart, and lungs, Central nervous system diseases, Kidney, liver, or gastrointestinal problems, Poor growth in children, Skin conditions, Pericarditis, Lung infections or conditions, respiratory failure, Vision problems, including cataracts, Problems with the reproductive organs, Heart disease and many more) trust me it not something you want to see.

Read a novel a couple of years ago where a nuke was used against creatures with regenerative capabilities (They were an army of angels actually). Those who managed to survive quickly wished they didn’t, regenerative capabilities plus radiation mutating your body was not a pretty sight to see.
What novel is that?
Salvation War. Not something for easily butt-hurt religious people. It was set a few years in an alternate 2008 version of our world after “The Message”, basically the judeo-christian god says the gates of heaven is closed and that all remaining humans on earth should lie down and die. Satan then starts sending demons to collect, but humans started fighting back. Their bronze age technology and weird powers versus human ingenuity and science. After a short and brutal war dubbed as the “Curbstomp War”, humans then turn their attention to the ones that closed the gates of heaven.
The science was pretty spot-on, specially concerning the military stuff since the author was a consultant for them IIRC but the novel was cancelled because some religious nut-job leaked the books at torrent sites, killing any chance that any publisher would pick it up. Yeah…
The moment he wakes up, he might actually already be afflicted with deadly radiation poisoning (or whatever that “hero(lol)” used to stimulate the effects), Which is why no one usually nukes any place close to ones country (to avoid bad … side effects) and especially avoides any place next to the one firing the attack in the first place.
Yep, Tomoki really is an idiot through and through. He couldn’t even replicate a proper gun, so don’t expect me to believe in his knowledge in nukes also. Heck maybe his knowledge of this things came from games and movies alone.

While Mio does want her wish granted (probably Makoto’s v-card in all likelihood, which was promised to her by Tomoe when the contract was made with Makoto unconscious), she (and Tomoe, plus Asora residents) is in a “high” state because this is the first time she has been ordered by Makoto to fulfill a desire of his that he purely wants. It is his first “selfish” desire (seizing Kaleneon) that they have been asked to give to him, and since they care so deeply for him, they are pretty much on cloud 9 with being super happy and excited. This was elaborated when Tomoe and Mio were discussing what Makoto just asked of them, before they set out to do it with the Orcs and Lizards.
well their force have high stats (thanks to the food that produce in Asora) and also their daily War-training and dont forget most of the Asorian are the race that live in the Wasteland of the world that make them have high durability.
The Asorian also equip with the highest grade of weapons and armor of the Elder Dwarf so you also could said they fight using Quality against Quality.
For General unit, they have 1 Superior Dragon and 1 Calamity Spider that can go rampage and destroy cities even without their help but their General also want to share the glory with them so no wonder their Morale also really high
well i did stated this on the last chapter that just living in Asora will make you crazy strong for the air,water even the food that grows there are super charge with magic and are super nutritionist to the point ware if you plant a Asora apple seed any ware but Asora it will kill off the plant life around it by sucking up all of the nutrition and mana of the area as staded in a past chapter.

I think that in her character’s presentation when she was summoned, the author said that in her whole life she didn’t care about anyone an had no “real” friend since anybody treated her as a princesse only for her appereance without minding her feelings…but she cared for only one person from a different club that she could think as a friend…also Tsukuyomi-sama said that Makoto knew one of the two heroes…but since Tomoshit was bullied at school and what I just said about Hibiki…I think Makoto and Hibiki knew each others
Oh, I don’t remember if that was something mentioned in the earlier chapters too, and I forgot that it was said that Makoto knew one of them. But if that’s what the autor said the they might know each other, but it’s also provable that the one he knows is Tomoshit. I hope it is Hibiki though.

They won’t meet on this Capital raid arc.

We don’t actually know if Hibiki’s the hero that’s previously connected to Makoto. We assume it’s Hibiki because of the harem trappings and it probably is, but the author’s been pretty vague about the whole affair.
Unless I’m missing something, there’s everything we know about the otherworlders’ relationships, pre-transportation:
– Two people were taken along with Makoto, and one of them was an acquaintance of Makoto. (Prologue 3)
– Makoto was headed for a love triangle between the intro girls, but there were others interested in him. (Tsuki POV)
– Makoto was in the archery club. (Chapter 1)
– Makoto was mostly known for being the “normal” guy in one of the most popular cliques in school, and he was respected by that clique. (Extra Chapter 1)
– Hibiki was in the kendo club. (Chapter 30)
– Hibiki was the school president. (Chapter 30)
– Hibiki had no real friends. She thought a fellow student was interesting, but nothing beyond that. (Chapter 30)
– Hibiki was extremely proficient in anything she attempted (Chapter 30), and had never been defeated. (Chapter 64)
– Hibiki had enough cooking experience to identify ingredients in the wild. (Chapter 89)
– Tomoki “came right out of a shoujo manga,” was a bit weak, and was bullied enough that he was skipping classes. (Chapter 31)
– Hibiki and Tomoki did not know each other beforehand. (Chapter 68)
Note that the only confirmed student of Makoto’s school was Makoto, so Tomoki could just as easily be the forgotten friend. More so when you consider how little the people in the extra chapters cared about a missing school president. While it could be explained as a relationship distance thing, since the characters involved were archery club people dealing with the loss of their vice captain, you’d think there would be at least one throwaway line about it. Personally, I’d think it’d make a better story, what with the whole dark reflection motif I keep trying to inject between Tomoki and Makoto. It could provide some good character development for both of them, to realize they started in a similar place but went in vastly different directions. It’d probably give Tomoki more of a personal grudge in their inevitable showdown. “You have no idea how hard I had it with the bullies! I finally escape them, only to have to fight for my life! You? You were never seriously bullied, and you followed me to this world to become a demigod? How dare you presume to judge me!”

That’s the problem. Tomoki might not be trigger happy, but look at how easy it was for everyone and their mothers to get ahold of that shit in our world. It’s nearly impossible to keep that kind of thing secret, and Tomoki has never struck me as the type to keep a lid on things like this. Nobody in that world understands how atoms and nuclear fission works. They’ll steal the spell, and then release it as they please, without ever realizing what they’re doing. Add to that the demons are angry and looking to hurt the hyumans in any way possible, and hyumans have almost no sense of self control, the destruction will only spread faster.And the fact that Sofia of all people was the first one to see it makes it worse. Tomoki just, quite literally, opened Pandora’s Box in the worst way possible.
I won’t deny that Tomoki might spread nuclear magic around like a dumbass, but I wonder if anyone can, A, have the magic power to use that kind of magic normally and B, know how radiation works enough to recreate the spell.
Maybe some Wise at Lorel might know, but I assume most of THOSE people wouldn’t be dumb enough to make it a common thing.
Basically, the way I see it, the people that are capable of it would most likely be unwilling to unless in dire circumstances. Assuming they aren’t shallow people that don’t think like Tomoki I guess.
I doubt that they will replicate that, first because a big explosion is not sofia’s style so the only witness of the magic wont pay much attention to it, and second because they dont know how it works, remember that they think its just a poisonous big fire spell they don’t know anything about atoms
🤔…Perhaps. But that’s putting a lot of hope on those two things. I’m a firm believer that introducing an advanced alien technology to an obviously primitive world is a bad idea for a lot of reasons. If Tomoki truly doesn’t intend to release the secrets of nuclear physics to anyone, plans to take the secrets to use this spell to the grave, and only uses it to protect himself like this, then I wouldn’t like it, but I could live with it. But remember, he tells Lily everything. And we already know that she’s crazy enough to make replicating it a priority, and will use it if she can. Whether or not Sofia will try to use it, well, she and Lancer both said that it attacking enemies and allies indiscriminately appeals to her nature, so it’s up in the air whether or not she’ll try it.
… I wonder if Tomoki has any idea how radiation (and nuclear fusion and nuclear fission as well as “nuclear weapons”) works in the first pla´ce or if his attack simply boils down to be a weak ripoff based on otaku knowledge (in that case, well … at least he figured that it might be helpful to give that attack a “curse” effect).
It’s still too unusable if it actually lacks the range of strategic nukes (or at least tactical nukes) as immense heat (as well as the radiation involved in general) are quite difficult to deal with even if one actually manages to fend of the shockwave … even if they manage to find people capable of actually using it despite potentially huge MP drain and complexity requirments.
So Tomoki brought over both of the inventions that ruined our world…or at least found a record of some “Wise” that made that spell before…
On a lighter note, how dangerous would that magic handgun be if it had as a core one of Makoto’s rings?

well leaving aside that he created it being just short area attack i cannot take it as an inhuman weapon. the problem and insanity of nukes its that 1 simple finger can destroy an insane ammount of areas and keep killing over time. since his one its short i think its more inhuman a poison myst spell than his nuke, since the nuke would oblitare instantly and if the change still alive there its poison but a simple poison mist kill sloooowly

Not insane, just immature and stupid. If he knew enough to recreate a nuclear explosion (fission), he should have used fusion instead at least or a neutron detonation. Even with his immortality at night radiation has a nasty way of hanging around for a while. Hell, even a focused Gamma ray (or maybe X ray) would have been better than a pony nuke attempt. This is what happens when you only pay attention to half of science class.
Only bright side is that Sophia, Lancer, and Rona couldn’t possibly recreate that spell without having a basic knowledge of atomic theory.Then again, they don’t need it since they have regular magic + teleportation. That’s a combo that’s hard to beat unless your name happens to be Makoto.

To sum it up in simple words … neutron & gamma are effective at penetrating stuff (including tanks and other stuff that’s usually used to protect against enemy attacks) to kill living things but doesn’t stay around that long (and doesn’t stick to dust, particles, obne’s clothes and skin, ecetera) or are otherwise rendered harmless without exerting excessive efforts … other types of radiation are more troublesome to deal with on the long term (even if they don’t necessarily kill one at first by quickly causing lethal cell damage, they might still end up with cancer and other healt issues that develope over time … as ´the radiation stays and accumulates in the body until removed naturally or by other means and, during that time, keeps wrecking havoc … Alpha and Beta radiation gets much more troublesome once it has been absorbed by the body as usually, their penetrative power isn’t so high that it reaches deep parts of the body or, in case of Alpha radiation, has trouble to even penetrate the skin) … fusion is considerable cleaner than some rough fission method, so less troublesome radiation to deal with when compared to the (much higher) firepower.
“Nuclear” is fusion and “atomic” is fission.

Wow. Tomoki kinda shone in this chapter. Where to begin…
I’m not sure whether to be impressed with Tomoki or consider him even more trash for training his charm eyes. Since he’s working himself hard and putting in the effort for the cheat the Goddess gave him instead of just relying on it the whole time, I guess I’ll count it as a pass.
His attacks were pretty badass though. First was a fake out with a setting like :”But it’s not on the level of creating a lake.” No lake, no dice with Sophia. And as there are often no lake-creating attacks, people are often without dice.
But no, turns out Tomoki actually created(found? It sounds like an original magic which makes it even more impressive) nuclear magic, with fallout radiation poisoning and all. I am actually very impressed with him. He built it up appropriately as a trump card referencing the Hiroshima tragedy and he actually managed to deliver with firepower greater than Makoto’s “harassment” (there goes all our Makoto launching nuke jokes…).
Actually, like Sophia said….aren’t his party members kinda holding him back? I was wondering what she meant at first but…
what bothers me is that he just unleashed absurd amounts of radiation in the capital city of the empire. that city is dead…
and nobody really cares that the flying dragon is dead now. he served well as a medieval airplane!
How close were they to the capital city? I was under the impression it was a ways away. Not that the radiation isn’t going to f*ck the populace up in slightly less incinerative ways.
The way Sophia described radiation was actually pretty spot on too. A poisonous fire that distorts your body from within.
Is Naga actually dead? I thought the little dragon summoning loli could store them in little Pokeballs, and Sophia just assumed they left it behind. Even if not, it’s a shame, but I didn’t really know that dragon very well. I felt more sad at Ilumgand’s death than the trashy hero’s team mascot’s.
Its a dead city alright, a city, specially a capital city cannot thrive when close to a wasteland, soon the poison, will spread to earth, and water and the zone near the blast will all but die…. hell, you could have radioactive winds with enough concentration, and thus be spread by hundread of miles. the most destructive aspect of this type of blast is the fallout effect, meaning the particles in suspension will all but spread the danger/radioactive zone.
So it will not only kill any hope of future for the whole region, it will spread and poison to the life-blood of the city (water and food ), thus people will die by poisoning, and mutations might/will happen. It really not possible for a capital city to prosper in such circumstances, unless they can all but seal off the radiation zone, and if lancer could not detect the “poison”, i dont think people will notice till much later, until its too late, when its already spread.
do you seriously think that tomoki will take preventive measures and endeavor to seal the area ?, warn people and make a move to contain the zone before its too late ?. Even if he did, they dont have a complete knowledge of radiation and advanced materials needed to create appropriate measures.
In a more real-life world, this would be the end of the empire. The difference here is how will the magic affect the radiation, then, if sofia can heal it, i guess its possible to cleanse it, so i would guess the damage will vary on when or where they realize the danger and whatever they have the means. In the end, makoto will have to appear and do damage control since i doubt he can ignore it.
You are right that he showed some guts in this fight. I just wish this feeling that he just did something divinely stupid would go away so I can enjoy it.
The feeling didn’t really disappear for me. What he did was undoubtedly stupid.
But for reasons like, “We already confirmed Tomoki to be really stupid”, “Makoto has the power to fix it somehow if radiation gets out of check,”, and “It’s that Bug’s world anyway, so why should we have to worry about it as a whole?” helps me accept it.

I can see Makoto giving Tomoki a punch in the face and yells at him after he discover what Tomoki use and over head you hear the goddess sounding like she will spit up blood from saying that Makoto is right. for crying out loud using a nuke around those you want to save? even a 3 grader knows that the most stupid thing to do.
Honestly I can’t give To-moronic any credit in this chapter. I can respect the Lust-Driven self improvement a least,(want only what you can’t have and all that) but that’s about the only thing.
I mean, some of his exploits should have been really awesome…..but they’re all thoroughly undermined.

Coming up with and making that work would require a Great and Terrible Cunning……unless of course you’re in a magical world and you’ve got an entire nations collection of researchers, resources, and magicians at your disposal. Oh, and a Co-pilot(Lilly again) who’s absolutely obsessed with developing powers that don’t require the Godess’. At that point you don’t really need more than a vague understanding of atomic weaponry to get a usable spell made.
Of course, Captain Arrogance himself wouldn’t have even been on the battlefield at all if not for his freebie immortality. Which he’s apparently been so shamelessly abusing that his enemies have already caught on to it. Way to give away your trump card kiddo.

I don’t think ot was as powerfull as the real thing. I dont think the radiation reashes the casttle, sinse he specifically asked for his companions (sex slaves) to be send there.
I don’t think that Highschool Students are able to do complex assesments of how big nuclear fallout is actually ending up at if even modern supercomputers managed by actual scientists have quite a bit of trouble in that regard … correctly estimating the actual scale of the radiation as well as how far the shockwave and heat goes without at least either excessive testing (which someone should’ve noticed) or complex simulations (which, again, I don’t think highschool students are capable of) isn’t exactly going to be easy, either.
So most likely, Tomoki had no idea of what he was actually doing.
I think so too, I couldn’t have said it better. There’s no way he could create an actual nuclear magic. He probably came up with something somewhat or barely similar based on what he could have hear or watched in TV, and named it nuccke.
I agree with Schattenbach here, there is no way a kid such a tomoki has a chance of understanding or calculating anything.
Also, I dont think there is any risk of nuclear technology or knowledge to the be transmitted, its a spell thus, spells do not rely on physics, at least not on traditional physics only, however, they can be used to create a physics phenomenon such as magnetism or gravity, as such, many wizards and most people within fantasy worlds can cause extraordinary phenomenon but they seldom understand the physics behind it.
To my eyes, tomoki is simply wielding a spell with high dificulty or special requeriments (such as having a piece of uranium-magic stone or something like this), which produces a nuke, with no understanding whatsoever about the physics behind it. I mean, nuclear explosions would be a hell of a lot easier if you used teleport magic or dimensional magic to do an atom splitting process instead of the traditional method, even more the use of uranium in the 80’s and other radioactive materials would not be nessesary if you could simply use non excitable materials, imagine, if you actually used magic to fission divide a pebble in the ground.

Well, “Nuke” IS objectively the more powerful move. The duo commented that they wouldn’t have survived if Makoto used that move instead of his “Lake Maker”.
Of course, an important distinction is that Makoto did it as “harassment” and Tomoki did it as a “trump card”.

My 2 cents on it: i think its lame that tomoki can use something like “nuke” , nukes arent easy to understand, and it should be impossible for him to understand how it works and turn it into a spell. Plus making it so perfect at the point of it doing more damage than our Waka-sama spell , its really dissapointing :/

🙁 still i’m quite dissapointed in this chapter, something like a nuke is impossible for anyone to recreate without knowing what its all about, he has to be a super genious and have studied alot before performing something like that, the way he went from weak to OPNUKE is just too unreal, even i’m not sure how Nukes are made, but i’m guessing its something on the molecular level or some shit, not something someone can just poop like that without any back story. Plus, the way Deus Ex Machina on the heros Party is just not done nicelly, why should sofia and the supreme dragon give 2 shts about his party, they were supposed to die, so that he could have some character development, i would like to see how he would live after his team get’s killed, and the only one left is his princess ( it could go good or very bad for him )
Imagine when she noticed he didnt use his “trump card” cuz his friends were arround, so he tells her to spare them and he would use it, but instead she kills them, making him go nuts ( hes not even supposed to be calm after being killed over and over again, so she could trigger him easilly instead of going on that route)
The only retribution that trashmoki deserves is to have his harem desert him. Anything else is just the icing.

I laughed so hard from the sudden transition of “Battle Sta-END!!”, Trashmoki’s party got wrecked, but it was trash to begin with. Heavily focused on him as the damage dealer with the aid of the bug’s gifts, the team composition consisting mostly for a high-powered, long distance attackers, maneuverability, defensive buffs and golem CC. Practically no one but Trashmoki was geared to the possibility of close combat and now look at them, the shielder is full of holes, dragon loli lost her legs and hand and the golemancer was crucified. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they fell in the first 10secs of the fight, while Sofia chops up Trashmoki at her leisure.
Now it’s obvious Makoto ain’t gonna show till probably the end of next chapter, story needs to give Hibiki her time to shine before she needs saving but I’m going to enjoy the after effects of this crisis on both the hyuman and demon sides. Hyumans got blindsided, the Empire’s countryside was devastated by the demon forces, then ruined by the radioactive fallout of Trashmoki’s ult, their prized experimental super soldiers are all dead and the hero’s party are in critical condition, it’s even possible that the village manufacturing the guns got wiped out in the blast wave but we’ll see later. Now we know that life’s a bitch and that some actions in this story comes up again later, it’d be funny, considering Kaleneon was one of the border lands near the fort, if that the force of 2000 demons guarding the area were actually reinforcements on standby. Faced with a severely crippled force in Gritonia, the lose of Kaleneon and the impending death of another demon general and troops in Limia once Makoto starts to move, I’d say the demons gonna be forced into another cycle of playing defensive like the hyumans.
Or both holds the idiot ball and choose a final all out battle later. :T
specking of Trashmoki’s party do’s any one nodes that most of his party members are girls around his age? it will not be shocking if it turns out he wanted them not only for the fighting ability but for….”other” reasons.

I’m disappoint. I was expecting a longer torture scene and tomoki’s capture and torment. Also, I was expecting our dragonslayer to win decisively then say “wow you’re much weaker than ‘him.’
Tomoki’s single strike is apparently STRONGER than several rings of Makoto’s bursting with his overflowing power.
Tomoki can literally NUKE a small area. What she was curing was obviously radiation poisoning.
Actually I’d argue under moonlight tomoki is probably stronger than makoto… He can’t be killed and regenerates super-fast, his enslavement eye is nothing to scoff at, and I’ve already pointed out his nuke. Makoto needs to rely on Shiki or Mio to heal him, is only better in raw magic and physical force.
Hibiki now seems like the weakest hero to me…

Trash is REALLY IMMATURE as just Nuke them with explosion mixture of fire-type, but the used of MODERN KNOWLEDGE of war and gun is consider bit weak as power only to 70%.
Makoto have really strong imagination as well as knowledge to adaption on the world like fusing, increase fundamental training, and develop new life-style of dreaming.
If TRASH was train in martial arts style and learning Qi-energy (Level 0 Aikido = novel) ; it would consider Better than Zero-attribute modern weapon and short war knowledge. Anyway it only consider Trashmoki as good & bad at the same time which NOT WORTH to take NOTE of EFFORT on him.
Technically the principal problem of nuke is the radioactivity left after its used, the hero used this 50km next the capital of the empire, their is a risk for contamination of all the empire. Furthermore they speak of a curse or poison they don’t understand the concept behind, that will create more problem so I don’t think nuke is 70% less efficient than magic…
From the beginning trash is specialized in fight from the rear and don’t fight on the front-line, he doesn’t want to risk his live so he searches in priority magic or weapon which can be used from the rear and nuke is one of the major weapon from the 20th centuries which can be used from long distance with a high impact and Sofia wouldn’t have meet Makoto before she said that she would be dead so it’s not a small attack…

You know, for the first time ever… I have to call bullshit on this series. There is no way a middle school student could know enough physics to replicate a nuclear splotion. furthermore, Its impossible that him or the empire would beable to find or even identify enough fissionable material for the catalyst.

Actually you learn the basics of nuclear fission and fusion in your first year of high school, it takes energy to create elements(Endothermic Reaction) while breaking elements down creates energy(Exothermic Reaction), simple, that’s the reason why splitting an atom is so catastrophic. Magic has long been refuted as that which bisects reality(in fiction), supposedly just being able to have an idea completes 3/4 of the work, now is just implementation. Pulling the hydrogen atoms from the air in rough quantities and then splitting them. Done and done, if you’re a smart and advanced student like Tomoki, then atom bombs in a world full of magic should easy enough, just gotta separate the hydrogen from other elements and then rip open it’s nucleus with how ever much mana is needed, at least logistically speaking. The actual math and science behind it is completely circumvented by magic. Not to call you out or anything, just being informative, and also calling the bullshit of the this one scene of this series as well, but it’s allowed that much, since magic.
The atomic bomb was a weapon granted by the goddess, it’s basically made of magic.
I think it was one of the conditions that tomoki negotiated with the goddess to become a hero. I’d have to look back to that chapter to be sure though!

nah, radiation doesn’t work that fast. Even with the most extreme Sievert it should take at least couple of minutes or half an hour to see the effects but it’s only working that fast if the radiation is really really extreme.
And you forget Lancer is a high dragon so if he died from radiation in one minute, there will be a need to create a magic which send gamma-ray (invisible and you can kill anyone with it) XD

What I dont really get is people’s power lvls at the moment I mean.
Lvls are explained as being a direct translation of someone’s strenght (though technique’s, skill’s etc etc are not included) kinda like how a lvl 50 = being 5 times stronger, hardier and have more magic power then a normal human being as an example.
In this case Sofia being lvl 900-1000ish should be weaker then for instance Mio who is lvl 1500ish. The only thing right now is that we haven’t really been shown how strong Mio or Tomoe really are while Makoto is atleast hinted at being several times stronger then either of them but he’s like a child with a gun that dont even know how to either load it or turn of the safety and instead bashes people in the head with the gun.
Still in this chapter Sofia is shown as easily beating up the empire hero with what? 5-10% of her full strenght and then surviving a nuclear blast and healing the after effects like nothing while appearntly not having used up any signifigant amount of power, to then head on to fight against Makoto.
Kinda lost my topic here but what I wanted to say is what’s the point of having a lvl system and point out how it works if the characters left and right can just ignore it and go super saiyan whenever they want.
the lvl system counts lvl 1 as that individual’s base power and not the average of normal people. reaching lvl 2 and higher requires them to push their limits. as such, someone with higher potential can toy around with those of lesser potential.
in Makoto’s case, he will only gain lvls from fighting the goddess unless he decides to destroy the entire world. Tomoe was most likely practicing her control to an extent that allowed herself to finally reach lvl 1500.
the heroes are just ordinary humans with weak divine protection shoved down their throats. Sofia on the other hand is an unparalleled hyuman. the difference in talent is enough to prevent Tomoki from overcoming it with sheer power. it’s like an overly ripped bodybuilder trying to hit a ninja, but can’t because his muscles are in the way.
If you want to use dbz logic power levels are irrelevant and that is the case here too. I think that was established since the earliest chapters and the student ark confirmed it again. The level of an adventurer says nothing about combat strength.

So, tomoki managed to make a “magic nuke”. he said “It is a super rare power that only a few who have gone around the world and fulfilled the requirements, are able to use. Even Hibiki can’t use it”, does that mean he searched for a lost ancient spell? I don’t think he should have enough knowledge to make it himself, or enough mana to cast it, and the “gone around the world and fulfilled the requirements” sound like he had to make many preparations for it and not just make the spell with his theoric knowledge. Maybe it’s the power of the godess’s favorite/hyuman strongest that root talked about, his magic element that even the goddess don’t have would be linked to radioativity, and maybe the “gone around the world” would be to make contract with spirits to have enough power to cast it? it is just pure speculation tho, zero proof of that…
though that is impressive that he managed to surpasse the damages caused by makoto’s lake arrow. I think sofia said a hyuman shouldn’t have that much magic power when makoto casted his arrow, so tomoki’s nuke is probably not his entierely his own power, and he’s backed up by someone or something and maybe not only the goddess.

Can tomoki use magic? (I don’t want to re-read, someone else do it for me) I thought we was like a “knight-class” with the immortality thing, charm eyes and magic tools. So I assumed the “Nuke” was like the guns, part tech, part magic. (still not believable cause I don’t think they could find a proper catalyst)
i mean, if he could use magic, i could believe that he could make a quasi nuclear boom, but its the radiation sickness without any radioactive material present that makes no sense to me.
Radiation = the emission of energy as electromagnetic waves or as moving subatomic particles, especially high-energy particles that cause ionization.
Since Trashmoki can use lightning and perhaps somehow understood the principle of electromagnetic waves perhaps he release a strong energy of electromagnetic wave which released radiation
The deal was that any human from earth would have incredible physical ability and magic compared to people from other worlds.
So yeah, Tomoki should be able to use magic if he tries to learn it, he just usually takes the path of least resistance relying on blessings and sacred artifacts to do the work for him.
lol I just thot of something, the empire is gunna get labeled as “The country full of ugly people” since he just set off a nuke in the empire everyone is going to mutate and Mokoto wont be the ugliest Hyuman in the world anymore.

Tomoki is going to be the Hero of the ghoul hyumans! with his now Ghoul harem flying his Death Claw fire dragon.
Then he would be more like a vampire. In some series vampires can turn people into Ghouls and control them. The Radioactive Vampire Tomoki and his Ghoul harem.

Can someone clairify something for me? Did Tomoki get his nuke spell from the goddess?
Because I’m seeing comments that say Tomoki shouldn’t have the knowledge to make a nuke spell, and others calling the goddess a dumbass for giving him the spell and poisoning her world.

Hmm, at first I thought so too but Tomoki mentioned: “What I am going to show you now is not the divine protection of the Goddess. But I also don’t think he build it himself because of obvious lack of skill and if you look at how he “casted” the attack he didn’t pull out any material like a giant steel ball or something, it’s just a ball of light that appeared from his hands so I think it has to be some sort of magic. That means the only conclusion is that it has to be some sort of ancient weapon created by a previous other worldler.
Yeah that part about having gone around the world seems like the key to me. I’m not buying that this selfish brat who always took the path of least resistance could have not only understood nuclear physics but also raised his magic knowledge high enough to come up with an original magic to replicate it, when Makoto is still studying to understand Shiki’s books til now.
I’m betting one of those genius otherworlders Root talked about who were experimenting with mixing science and magic in order to return to earth, was the one who invented this magic and left the knowledge behind somewhere for Tomoki to stumble over. The requirement he met was probably having enough science knowledge to understand what the spell was supposed to do, and having enough magic power to use the spell. So Tomoki talks about it like it makes him special for being able to use it.
That’s the only explanation I can think of.
Your theory can be true. But when Tomoe read Lily’s mind, she found a lot of things about guns development and if I am not misteken nukes too. If thats is correct maybe he has stored that so caled nuke like the gun or his swords.
From what I remember, it just said that Tomeo saw that Lily knew about the existence of guns and possibly WMDs from Tomoki and was trying to develop them. But this chapter also said tomoki is using a failed prototype that looks like a gun but just shoot light magic, so they obviously didn’t get detailed info of how it worked. And if he can’t give them a detailed explanation of the recipe for gunpowder and the physics of firearms, how’s he going to managed nuclear fission?
Seems more to me Tomoki has some general knowledge of how they work from school, media and the internet, but not on the level of a scientist.
Using a nuke huh…He should’ve gone for a hydrogen bomb, it’s a lot more destructive and has no radiation. Though it might destroy the kingdom as the range is larger :/

So the trash hero made a nuke spell with the nuclear fallout. That comes of as to me as an extremely bad idea. Still thats rather impressive that he made it and stuff.
Anyway this leaves room for Makoto and Shiki to to create some RadAway and sell as a merchant
There are two main differences between Makoto and the heros:
1- Makoto has Sekai.
2- Makoto can disperse his conscience and recosntruct again,like Tomoe said that multiply his magic power.
