Standing at the front of the teleport formation for the next floor, I nod.
It is a plan that I had Tomoe and Mio hear out, and made some retouches to.
Even when we have already arrived at one step before our goal, I still haven’t been able to think of a way to break the heart of Rokuya-san and his group, the Japanese people that have accepted immortality.
We are going to be marching into the enemy’s territory, and without killing anyone, we have to gain their cooperation including the person that hates me. Moreover, there’s no doubt that there are several forces there that are on a level that can be considered a threat to the Kuzunoha Company.
No matter how you look at it, there’s no doubt that this is a big challenge.
That’s why I think the idea that came out after cleanly piecing the information at the hotel was a miracle.

But, in my personal opinion, I would like Mio to confront Haku Mokuren-san, Ginebia-san, or Rokuya-san depending on the situation.

There’s quite the skilled ones that are S-class at the 20th floor, so I was thinking about calling Lime, Akua, Eris, and the elite four Arkes, but to my surprise, all three of them told me to wait.
They told me they wished for perfect equipment and the permission to utilize their full strength.
The three probably had some sort of plan.
There were several floors that were tough enough I would want to use them as training for the Kuzunoha Company, so that might be influencing too.
That’s why Beren got the permission of Tomoe and Mio, and also Shiki and Tamaki to bring a big amount of weapons that looked okay to bring.
Since a while ago, he has been looking at the ring Tomoe gave him with a face filled with motivation. It is an item that lets you use Asora like a storage.
For someone like me who is not good at the technical stuff, I simply see it as an item that opens a storage of big capacity.
Tomoe nodded when I said that, so the effect must not be far from my understanding.

She said: ‘I will be fighting with my all, as a physical type Forest Oni, and as an elf ancestor’.
She doesn’t use a bow, and she isn’t that good at magic, so those words were pretty rare to hear from Shii.
By the way, I called Lime to the hotel just in case.
I don’t think there will be an opponent appearing today that he wouldn’t be able to buy time against.

I set Sakai to perception and search, and grasp the fighting force of the other side.

Of course, this body constructed of magic power was steadily perceived by the other side, and maybe because of surprise or fear, there was some sort of atmosphere going around the place.
The attacks stopped -for only a small frame of time though.
The attacks raining down, the magic coiling about; in this space of time I was given, I evaporate both of those with the shockwave that the Magic Armor released.
If Sakai can’t detect them, there’s nothing I can do, but beginning with Rokuya-san, there’s no presence that might be of an Adventurer of Origin.
And everything I wanted to grasp, I was able to.
After several seconds, a number of presences appeared at my back.
Everyone has arrived.
Thanks to the network that Mio has connected with all six of us, the information is linked, and we are able to coordinate without any mistakes.

When bringing it to a melee confrontation in those kind of situations, there’s the need to be prepared for death, but there was no light of desiring death in the eyes of the three.
They rushed like bullets aiming at the assassins, and in a second, two of the seven were rolling on the ground with good momentum, and had went out of combat.
Beren didn’t stop moving.

Well this was a surprisingly action-packed send-off.
It somehow feels really liberating to finally see the Labyrinth Party cut loose for a change. Tomoe with Silver(poor Tomoe) hair! Mio with super gloss mode! Beren with access to everything in Asora !
And, of course, Makoto opening with his magic power armor in a glorious return! I also love how they sent Makoto in knowing that with his luck they’d be met with an immediate concentrated bullet hell attack.
Also, I think Takane deserves praise for dealing with Makoto with what is probably the most effective strategy to date. Makoto has a very “a hand for a hand, a fang for a fang” mentality, but this also means that he would really, really strain himself if he had to attack someone who’s never shown him any hostility before. And so, the brilliant tactical maneuver known as “invite him over for some coffee” was born.
The monster about as scary as a cosmic horror is kept out of the fight for as long as you can drag civil chats out with him. Which I assume they actually have a lot to work with as well, considering their background and life experience as immortals.
I think the best part is what would happen if by some miracle their plan worked and tomoe/mio/beren and co were all defeated/killed Makoto would then probably wipe out everything in a 300km radius. I suspect that it will be relatively bloodless in the separate arenas however, possibly so far as their being some form of death prevention.
What a bummer and we can only waiting for the new chapter which is uncertain release 😦

Its been more than a year since i began to read Tsuki Ga Michibiku and i had enjoyed the whole journey, your translations had some ups n’ downs, like when you posted chapters almost daily or when you had to leave and Yoshii continued the transalation and for this I thank you fam.
Well with all of that aside i wish i could finish to read this before i die or the author does (im looking at you Yamaguchi) and hope that you pick an interesting novel to translate so i could continue reading here xD
oh and why don’t you give it a try at the side chapters? I remember someone saying that there are like 30 of them and they don’t appear very often
Yoshi does some of the side and I for get who it is… but they do the POV chapters. All I do know is that everything else is covered.

The way the author built up to this state though, there were many thin plotlines but nothing concrete. I get the feeling that the author is running out of materials and is thinning the story while he researches for it. Hope he comes back with good data.

First of all, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! for this great Isekai trip. It’s in these moments that the old adagio really shines: a good craftsman can use any kind of tools.
Taking a hard-to-translate novel and doing such great work can only be deserving of respect (to you and other translators alike).
Although Makoto was a bit of a late-bloomer, it’s a bit sorrowful to see the author not recuperating from his “break” since chara development was going steady (with the whole sudden realisation that Mio and Tomoe are “women”, perceiving the extent and “weight” of his power, moving more himself in the background etc…). With the novel being well led it hangs on this point.
Oh well, let’s wait and see what will be your next act of kindness a.k.a. your next project.
Just hope you’ll keep on being happy with it, cuz I know us readers will be.

Well… looks like it’s over… for now. This series was one hell of a ride, and now the ride’s stuck until the author updates. I loved this series, it was the first web novel that I ever read. Hell, I was happy when Reigokai hired me as an editor. Though… I’m still waiting on him to say that I’m officially fired, despite not getting to edit since the 30’s (as in chapters, not years). And yeah, I checked to see if Kei Azumi updated. Sadly… it was a wasted hope.
Anywho, now’s the time to look forward to a new adventure. Personally, I’m still hoping for Janitor-san. That is one that’s been needing picked up forever. I would also say Weakest Skeleton, but that one got picked up during the countdown. All I know is that I’m going to enjoy whatever Reigokai starts next. Is there a clue as to what the schedule is like, the author of Kumo Desu Nani Ka goes on hiatus for a while to work on the Light Novel and posts like crazy in between volumes, is this author like that?
Also does anyone feel like the author is trolling us a bit? The first real fight the Kuzunoha Company has faced that poses any real threat to its core members (Tomoe, Mio, etc.) and the author just conveniently leaves at a cliffhanger. Especially Rokuya, he talks big for a thief, assassin, or whatever he is… saying that Mio is the easiest to deal with. Granted against Makoto, his immortality would have been put to the ultimate test, and with Tomoe’s powers there are a greater chance of psychological damage rather than physical… I was looking forward of seeing his POV of him getting rektd, but oh well… Overlord vol 12 will be coming out next month so there is that to look forward to!

Well, as aznoval said in previous chapter, only the goddess can defeat him quickly- he, the leader of the guild and I guess the strongest,if not, at least one of the strongest,admitted that he can be dealt with quickly by the goddess..
Before, makoto can even last and damage athena god of war..i dont think the goddess is close to the power of athena in terms of battle prowess..
At this point, makoto might be on par or even above the goddess if he fully utilizes his creation and mana..since his mana bank is greater than most deities..
So, if in this situation the aftel people treated the kuzonoha like samal did.. The 20th floor would’ve been gone by now..
Shiki could’ve use niflheim -that mist that weakens and enclosed the whole 20th floor..they’ll be left with at least only 10 capable enemies..

The better way would’ve been for tomoe to isolate the whole 20th floor into a different space, that way the admin can’t carelessly interfere..then put them into illusions or let them sleep..or for makoto to release his limiters inside the isolated space..since they don’t need to worry about damaging the labyrinth anymore..

I think that Makoto was sended to the priestess since she seems to be the one with less hostility or eagerness to fight him, altough it might be because she can somehow call down the Goddes power.
