DCFM – Chapter 022: Exclusive Chosen Bulletin Board [No.1000 – Kurose Hikaru] 1232nd

-57: Anonymous from Earth

Damn it! I was late in sending the support message!

-58: Anonymous from Earth

The Antis act damn fast. I also sent a message of support to him.

I actually cried when he managed to get out of the forest.

The Antis are the ones that should die.

-59: Anonymous from Earth

He looked so depressed, he will be refreshed later.

-60: Anonymous from Earth

As if someone could get refreshed from that. He is going to get cornered to his death!

-61: Anonymous from Earth

That’s scary. The very first ones who sent those messages must have been the extremists that believe in the ‘Hikaru is the culprit’ theory.

-62: Anonymous from Earth

I have been saying this countless times but, there’s no other culprit other than Hikaru, right? The police have been investigating the whole time, you know? The police force of Japan is reliable, so it is impossible that they have not caught the culprit despite having caused that much of an incident. In other words, Hikaru who got away to the parallel world is the culprit.

-63: Anonymous from Earth

↑Idiot.

-64: Anonymous from Earth

I have been saying this countless times but, it is not like you get the rights of transfer by killing the Chosen, you know?

See this and that as two separate things.

Or more like, Hikaru himself has testified that he was killed by a third party.

It is better to not feed these pests though.

They seriously are a cancer to society.

-65: Anonymous from Earth

I felt bad for him.

But his crying face made my heart skip a beat there.

-66: Anonymous from Earth

It might also be because they haven’t found evidence and can’t get a warrant.

-67: Anonymous from Earth

But how did the culprit run away? The mass media was there too, right? Like, real close.

-68: Anonymous from Earth

I went to check the site of the incident, and the house of Nanami-chan has a whole lot of narrow alleyways around, moreover, there’s a thin ditch flowing, so there’s a chance for escape.

-69: Anonymous from Earth

Then the mysterious schoolmate must be the culprit.

There’s no other but the mysterious schoolmate.

-70: Anonymous from Earth

If there had been students who didn’t go to school that day, the number of suspects could have been narrowed, but it was New Year.

-71: Anonymous from Earth

If it is New Year’s, there should have been people in the surrounding houses. Aren’t there witnesses of the escaping culprit?

-72: Anonymous from Earth

There’s no way the police haven’t investigated that.

Isn’t it just that there’s no witnesses?

-73: Anonymous from Earth

You guys, I don’t know if you are forgetting or what.

That was the time when the Chosen were being transferred.

Is there a single human being that wasn’t in front of their TV or PC?

-74: Anonymous from Earth

There should be elderly who aren’t interested in all this isekai business, right?

-75: Anonymous from Earth

The testimony of an elderly sounds so unreliable…

-76: Anonymous from Earth

For now, even if Hikaru isn’t the culprit, there’s a whole mountain of mysteries of who else could it be then. But with the testimony of Hikaru now, the culprit has been narrowed to a student of the same grade. I think it is just a matter of time before they are caught.

-77: Anonymous from Earth

Only a few criminals that have killed a whole family don’t get caught, but it does happen.

Even if there’s a lot of evidence, it doesn’t assure they will get caught. The culprit this time must have been really meticulous.

Or maybe they were just plain lucky, or the police is just that incompetent.

-78: Anonymous from Earth

There’s also the chance Hikaru is the true culprit though.

-79: Anonymous from Earth

But you see, no matter which is the case, there’s no way to judge Hikaru anymore.

No matter how many harassing messages are sent, we can only watch the Chosen.

-80: Anonymous from Earth

No, the problem is that the harassment seems to actually be working…

The ones who still think Hikaru is the culprit after seeing that reaction should get their human license revoked.

-81: Anonymous from Earth

Is that photo album something he prepared?

-82: Anonymous from Earth

No idea.

Does that mean he brought the photos of the person he killed?

In order to get a high from thinking back on it?

-83: Anonymous from Earth

There was no need to force the psychopath route…

-84: Anonymous from Earth

It was pastel colored, so it must have been prepared by Nanami-chan.

-85: Anonymous from Earth

Why can you say for sure?

-86: Anonymous from Earth

There’s no way the Great Dark Mage would prepare such an album, right? Think realistically. Go back and redo your *chuunibyou*. <TLN: 8th grade syndrome>

-87: Anonymous from Earth

It could have been prepared by his little sisters.

-88: Anonymous from Earth

In the first place, we don’t know at what time Hikaru-kyun was chosen. Did he really have the time to prepare an album?

-89: Anonymous from Earth

Even his little sisters said they didn’t know.

There is the chance that he was hiding it though.

-90: Anonymous from Earth

In that case, there’s the possibility that he went to Nanami-tan’s room to transfer together with his childhood friend.

-91: Anonymous from Earth

The theory that Hikaru is innocent is really strong here.

I didn’t think he was the culprit from the very beginning though.

-92: Anonymous from Earth

No no, what’s wrong with you guys? Judging from the situation and the evidence, there’s no other culprit than Hikaru.

-93: Anonymous from Earth

Suspicious. Aren’t you the culprit?

We haven’t found any other culprit after all.

-94: Anonymous from Earth

I don’t really get it, but I will send a message to cheer him up.

-95: Anonymous from Earth

Me too.

Or more like, is there no other way to support him?

We are powerless aside from viewer points.

-96: Anonymous from Earth

He won’t be reading the messages anymore. He shut himself inside the darkness.

-97: Anonymous from Earth

I actually feel like bullying him a whole lot now… What should I do…

-98: Anonymous from Earth

I loled at the massive amount of ‘Little Sister of Hikaru’ appearing on youtube.

-99: Anonymous from Earth

The broadcast of the actual sisters was shocking after all.

There must be a lot of people searching for ‘Hikaru’s little sisters’.

-100: Anonymous from Earth

Or more like, why is Hikaru the only one who can use magic like a machine gun?

-101: Anonymous from Earth

The other Chosen lose consciousness the moment they use magic consecutively.

-102: Anonymous from Earth

It seems there were cheat powers that you could get at the beginning that were related to Spirit Energy, so it definitely must be that. Maybe Spirit Energy Recovery Rate, Spirit Prowess Up, or the one about being loved by Spirits.

-103: Anonymous from Earth

The one where the Spirits love you, you say? The one that Ikakin said required a crazy high amount of points?

-104: Anonymous from Earth

That. Well, I don’t know if that’s what Hikaru took though.

-105: Anonymous from Earth

There were other people who were shooting magic over and over. Well, even with that, they wouldn’t manage to get out from the dangerous zones and died though.

-106: Anonymous from Earth

Jeanne-chan who started with a full brawn build in a safe zone is the rightest answer.

-107: Anonymous from Earth

Starting in a dangerous zone has way too many risks after all… Even Hikaru barely scraped away with his life.

-108: Anonymous from Earth

Even this all-seeing eye of mine couldn’t foresee that he would survive.

-109: Anonymous from Earth

Just when he was finally about to die, the comments were filled up with ‘Divine Punishment’.

I felt like I peeked at the hideous side of humanity.

If seeing this was the objective of God, you are all gonna get purged in a bunch, you know.

-110: Anonymous from Earth

The summary of Hikaru until now:

①He killed(?) his childhood friend Nanami-chan and was elected as a Chosen.

② Starting from a danger zone. Meets a giant fire monkey inside the forest, but escapes from the precarious situation by placing a barrier.

③ He begins acting by using dark spirit magic, but ends up in front of the nest of the fire monkeys.

④ Something that appeared at night slaughtered the whole fire monkey family. Spirit Stone Get.

⑤ Policy of only moving at night. Seems like he is buying barriers with points.

⑥ Flower that shines at night, get. First of the Chosen to get a special rare material.

⑦ Ran out of barrier stones close to the end of the forest, and was about to get killed by a pack of wolves.

⑧ The power of darkness awakened and he summoned an undead fire monkey. Wipes out the pack of wolves. The first of the Chosen to obtain the Sealed 8th Dark Spirit Ability.

⑨ Gets out from the forest and receives messages from Earth. Seems like they were filled with all manners of insults.

⑩ After crying himself to the ground, he has shut himself in since then.

-111: Anonymous from Earth

What’s that about the barrier? Was there such a safety measure?

-112: Anonymous from Earth

Newcomer spotted. There’s a Barrier Stone you can buy with points.

It seems like Hikaru was one of the Chosen who had quite a lot of points remaining, and he was buying quite the high amount of Barrier Stones. Most Chosen allocated all their points before starting, so there aren’t many who have managed to properly use the Barrier Stones to survive.

-113: Anonymous from Earth

That’s so damn sly.

So he really is the culprit…

-114: Anonymous from Earth

The translations are still not perfect, so there’s a lot of unknown areas, but it is 1 point per barrier stone, so it seems it isn’t something you can buy so easily.

-115: Anonymous from Earth

Hikaru was using them like water though…

-116: Anonymous from Earth

More importantly, what was that thing that showed up at night? I watched the footage, but it was so frikin dark I thought they messed up their broadcast.

-117: Anonymous from Earth

Tremble in fear after watching the brightness up version. (Link)

-118: Anonymous from Earth

Eh? Eh? What’s this? No matter how much the brightness is increased, only a silhouette shows.

-119: Anonymous from Earth

She is being called Miss Perfect Dark overseas.

This is most likely the Great Dark Spirit.

-120: Anonymous from Earth

Why is the Great Dark Spirit favoring Hikaru?

The fire monkey family are plain victims here.

-121: Anonymous from Earth

The family was just cuddling in a circle there, and yet, they were suddenly killed by a boss ranked Spirit. That’s not on the level of just being unlucky. Is Hikaru a Death God or something?

-122: Anonymous from Earth

There’s talk he has some cheat power about being loved by Spirits, so that must be what Hikaru got. Also, there’s no doubt he took Night Vision.

-123: Anonymous from Earth

Is it certain that Hikaru killed Nanami-chan?

It seemed like he was trying to testify about it, and it also matches with what his little sisters said. I don’t get it anymore.

-124: Anonymous from Earth

We digging back this topic again?

-125: Anonymous from Earth

Who other than Hikaru is there with all the evidence against him? The mysterious student X?

-126: Anonymous from Earth

He doesn’t know the name of the student. Happens often when you are a loner…

-127: Anonymous from Earth

There’s also the explanations of the little sisters, so Hikaru is apparently decently popular overseas.

-128: Anonymous from Earth

That talk about getting the right for transfer if you kill the Chosen is complete bogus after all.

-129: Anonymous from Earth

With 1 billion people watching, of course there will at least be people liking him.

-130: Anonymous from Earth

He might have killed them, or maybe he didn’t. There’s no other method to prove if he is innocent aside from having Nanami-tan herself state it.

-131: Anonymous from Earth

No, they can just find the true culprit, right?

If they can’t, Hikaru is the culprit.

-132: Anonymous from Earth

↑Idiot

-133: Anonymous from Earth

Stop with that judgement full of holes.

-134: Anonymous from Earth

No, why is it going in the direction of Hikaru not being the culprit in the first place?

-135: Anonymous from Earth

Because Celica and Karen say Onii-chan is not the culprit…

-136: Anonymous from Earth

Why are his two little sisters super geniuses while Hikaru is normal?

-137: Anonymous from Earth

He is not normal. He is the Great Dark Mage!!

-138: Anonymous from Earth

His two little sisters are geniuses and cute, it is just unfair. Moreover, they are twins, love their Onii-chan, and streamed in youtube for the sake of clearing his name without caring about the dangers of it, and in 8 languages to top it off!

I ended up hating Hikaru even more.

He also had a cute childhood friend. He was completely on the winning side.

And now, he is going all overpowered isekai protagonist with his dark magic. There’s no loner who would be able to see him with honest eyes. He is the star of loners. I envy him so friking damn much.

-139: Anonymous from Earth

Good to see you are honest. I envy him too. I want to be Hikaru.

-140: Anonymous from Earth

Celica was reading a script or something, wasn’t she?

-141: Anonymous from Earth

She was facing straight to the camera. I don’t know if there were cue cards or what at the side of the camera.

The details were apparently almost the same in 8 languages, but she was answering the comments with the very same language it was asked in, so she is a serious speaker of 8 languages.

-142: Anonymous from Earth

What does that mean? The questions were in the script too?

A 12 year old girl being able to speak 8 languages is impossible considering the learning speed and all.

-143: Anonymous from Earth

It was a livestream.

There’s no japanese person who wasn’t dumbstruck when they heard a cute girl like that speaking hindi.

Go watch it at once.

-144: Anonymous from Earth

Seems it was pretty shocking even overseas.

Moreover, they are cute on an idol level.

The treatment towards Hikaru got super lighter after that.

A certain demographic might have instead gotten their hatred amplified though.

-145: Anonymous from Earth

It seems Karen can speak 3 languages.

These little sisters are way too intelligent…

-146: Anonymous from Earth

I envy Hikaru.

I hate him… So unfair…

-147: Anonymous from Earth

But he was separated from all that, you know?

-148: Anonymous from Earth

Popular people always get haters.

-149: Anonymous from Earth

What’s with this flow of things? More, let your anger take over you.

-150: Anonymous from Earth

We are hating him in a sense.

-151: Anonymous from Earth

Burning their house was way too far. You should really think about which one is the sane side here.

-152: Anonymous from Earth

The arsonist hasn’t been caught yet, right? Even though the mass media was there. I am impressed they managed to pull that off.

-153: Anonymous from Earth

The mass media is the culprit…

You would normally deal with the fire in its early stage.

-154: Anonymous from Earth

The family are just victims after all…

I am impressed the little sisters didn’t end up hating their brother.

-155: Anonymous from Earth

No, maybe they do hate him. They are geniuses, so there’s the possibility they are moving in a calculated manner that will reduce the damage towards them the most.

-156: Anonymous from Earth

It is true that that livestream at the very least managed to create sympathy towards the family.

-157: Anonymous from Earth

Nanami-tan’s cause of death was because of being stabbed to death, right? Have they not checked for fingerprints of Hikaru?

-158: Anonymous from Earth

Right right, they were apparently stabbed to death with a knife or a kitchen knife, but they haven’t found the murder weapon.

-159: Anonymous from Earth

He was transferred soon after, so there should have been no time to hide the murder weapon, huh.

-160: Anonymous from Earth

That point was brought out in the stream of the little sisters.

-161: Anonymous from Earth

Didn’t he bring it to the parallel world then?

-162: Anonymous from Earth

The item he brought was the album. Watch properly. You can only take one thing, so there’s zero chance he brought the knife with him too. In the first place, if he really had something like that, he would have used it a long time ago.

-163: Anonymous from Earth

Even the fingerprints. He was her boyfriend, so they should be everywhere.

-164: Anonymous from Earth

Speaking of that, Hikaru said it was a student of the same grade.

If they get the fingerprints of everyone in the same year, couldn’t they find the culprit?

-165: Anonymous from Earth

That!

-166: Anonymous from Earth

We are finally here…

-167: Anonymous from Earth

I am really unsure whether the police can actually pull it off or not though.

-168: Anonymous from Earth

No, if it is someone their grade, they could just say they came to hang out once…

Are you idiots…?

-169: Anonymous from Earth

What if there’s fingerprints in the body of Nanami-chan?

-170: Anonymous from Earth

There’s none of that.

This would be a whole other case.

-171: Anonymous from Earth

You are all going girlfriend girlfriend, but the little sisters emphasized that they were not in a romantic relationship.

They were just childhood friends.

Isn’t that important? Is what I thought, honestly.

-172: Anonymous from Earth

Those two really love their Onii-chan though…

-173: Anonymous from Earth

Don’t bring out such little sisters that are more fantasy-like than an isekai.

-174: Anonymous from Earth

The little sisters are still in middle school after all. They are still at the age where they love their Onii-chan…

-175: Anonymous from Earth

They are not your average middle schooler though.

Twins that skipped grades and suddenly enrolled in college is just hard to believe.

-176: Anonymous from Earth

This is what people must call being gifted.

-177: Anonymous from Earth

We are only talking about the little sisters!

-178: Anonymous from Earth

Cause Hikaru-kyun isn’t coming out from the darkness…

Or more like, he is using magic successively at a frightening degree. Wow.

He really is the Great Dark Mage, no joke.

-179: Anonymous from Earth

There’s no doubt he is the one who is using the most magic within the 1,000 Chosen…

-180: Anonymous from Earth

I want him to say ‘Be embraced in the flames of darkness and perish’.

-181: Anonymous from Earth

He is still an actual 1st year high schooler, so we can hope it happens. I can catch a glimpse of it with the fact that he chose darkness.

-182: Anonymous from Earth

DAMN BASTARD! I should have been the one to go. I seriously want to kill him for taking away my right.

-183: Anonymous from Earth

Simmer it. It is random, so anyone had the chance… We weren’t chosen -that’s all there is to it… Even me, if I had been chosen, I could have escaped this shitty life here and enjoyed my isekai life… Ugh…

-184: Anonymous from Earth

Stop it. That is super effective on me too.

-185: Anonymous from Earth

Ah, the murder weapon! So that’s why the police were searching for that so persistently.

-186: Anonymous from Earth

Talk about late reaction.

-187: Anonymous from Earth

Huh? Then, Hikaru is not the culprit???

-188: Anonymous from Earth

Culprit! Culprit! Hikaru is the culprit!

-189: Anonymous from Earth

That’s merely based on inconclusive evidence and the circumstances around it, making him look like the culprit. Cool your head and think.

-190: Anonymous from Earth

Whichever the case, I am looking forward to the actions of Hikaru from now on.

      1. The author really replicated the toxicity in every forum and messages that he made. And it’s also true for the opposite. Without these we can’t really feel the right emotions for him.

        1. I love how accurate the internet was portrayed by author-san. There is still a touch of reality within this fantasy world

      2. could it be? could it be? Author-san you’ve managed to properly write my thoughts after all! I’m still of the mind student x should have cuts on their hands but I’ll accept they were lucky to somehow break in by likely doing the clay mold on Nanami’s key to not cause damage to the lock and somehow killed the parents while they were asleep, although i feel both Nanami and her parents would be too restless to sleep and spend the last day crying/hugging or at least being in the same room before being eternally separated.

since i couldn’t think of a question yesterday here’s a bold one for today!
Why the hell is Mysterious student x so meticulous? He couldn’t of known about the crystal to viewership system nor what would of happened if at 1st place viewer rankings so why go through planning the murder out so well if they were so sure murder would be a free ticket to glorious isekai freedom? Maybe dark machinations are at play hmm?

      3. oh dear, apologies on posting my comment via reply, I didn’t mean to highjack your comment 😔
(to make up for it I shall tell you a sad secret, I’m not a Turtle just because I’m slow to read the chapter, at least compared to the speed readers, it’s also because I read chapters on an original Ipad. Now because it gets no updates anymore it takes several moments to type out a sentence before it shows up, and this leads to very bad spelling! Now you know I am a slow reader on a slow device and thus 🐢!)

    1. Last chapter, I really thought the item he transferred with would have been the murder weapon, since that was the actual last thing he “touched”. That certainly would have made the rational opinions about him a lot more negative than what we were shown in this chapter.

      1. The last thing he touched was Nanami’s body though, depend on your spiritualism bodies could be considered things but appearently “god” doesn’t which is odd as we found out other chosen could take “detriments” like children with them. “God” has a rather inconsistent sense for an uncaring higher being doing this for what I can only assume is entertainment.

      2. The thing with bringing people along was well defined though. It’s only alowed up to some specific age. And you get Points depending on how much of a burden it is.

  1. I like bulletin board chapters more than actual plot, its simply fun like reading comment section of manga chapters or anime episodes

  2. Thanks for the chapter! How did the police manage to fail to find the murderer guy? (I can’t remember his name) He literally said something about staying in the house until time ran out to get transferred.

      1. That would actually be a very good explanation for why the item that Hikaru was transferred with wasn’t the knife, which should have been the last thing he touched, since it would have been assigned the murderer rather than Hikaru, making him only keep the second last thing he touched, which is Nanami’s album.
I really hope that this conclusion is very good foreshadowing rather than me just discovering a plothole.

      2. Him being transferred with the photo album makes perfect sense to me

“I was kicked, and fell on top of Nanami.

I am not in a state where I can fight back. My consciousness was already fading.

The burning feeling in my back was already gone, and I now only feel cold.

I could tell instinctively that death was approaching. ”

He falls on top of Nanami. If she had been clutching the photo album then it would’ve been the last object he touched that would fit in his hand

      3. Then we’ll have a satisfying scene in the future where he gets his vengeance.

Although i think the culprit manifested in the late comments of the chapter, the 182 one.

      4. yeah, from how it was descripted, the murdered pushed Hikaru after stabbing him and he says how the “burning feel in my back is gone and all i could feel was cold” that must been because of the murdered taking the knife away after stabbing, as the pain is overwritten by the feeling of blood loss and conciousness falling off, what would have been more morbid, would been if he were transported with nanami corpse, as if it was like considering her corpse as an item, since some people brought people with them, the chapter gave me a knot in the stomach as its super realistic the way the internet reactions were, the toxicity feels so real that it kinda hurts, makes me respect author but also hard to read as fast as i would other chapters

      5. No, I don’t think he got transferred I reread this chapter and it looks like he is lurking in the Hikarus bulletin board, lurkers is very easy to spot, if you been on websites like 4chan or other bulletin boards you can easily tell someone is from an agency or government entity is lurking there, same with some people who aren’t right in their minds.

      6. I highly doubt it. All the other slots were filled. It seems very unlikely that some other Chosen just happened to also die just before the transfer and their mark ended up going to the murderer. Plus if he did get transferred then he would have also been a last minute addition like Hikaru and people would have also been talking about it yet nobody mentions anybody else being transported that was an unknown person. Even if they immediately got killed after the transfer, the god would have broadcasted it and attention would be drawn to him if for no other reason than making a headline of, “Unknown new Chosen gets transferred and immediately dies.” or something similar.

      7. Nah, he could not have gotten transferred. First of all he was staying there until it was too late to get chosen. After that someone must have gotten rid of the evidence and i doubt it was some except for himself. The “Lurking in the Comments Theory” sounds the most plausible to me

    1. The murderer must have had help, perhaps his parents who works with the police. How else would he have evaded police for this long and shifting the blame on someone who ‘just disappeard and happend to be one of the chosen ones’.

      1. They didnt tell the police thinks Hikaru is the culprit they still dont have the evidence. And about how the cameras of the media didnt catch him they told that there is blind spots and a river/waterside to the side of the house.
The anti are the ones screwing with the he is guilty bulshit without evidence. And even if the police have the idiot under suspect they cant get a underage without evidence.

    2. It is explained about a 100 chapters later in an arc about what his sisters backstory and what they were doing after he left and nanami died. The commentating chapters will repeatedly say that his sisters( karen and Celica, i think) are big brain, which is also shown in the same arc.

  3. so he IS overpowered, i tough that his inavility to use ofensive magic would drag him down (undead are summons, consumable summons at that) but from what is said in this chapter, he is the only one who is using magic like nothing (as stated by the coments, most people faint quickly) so he has an adventage over most people/chosens, now i am thinking, how strong will he be in the future? Makoto tier strengh?, Kazuma tier (end novel Kazuma was fairly strong but not overpowered) or remain as Subaru class (a few powerful skils but overal weak)?

    1. Lets hope the author comes with good explanations about the lvl system and how he can be that much strong. But i think it was the training inside the barrier. They told he was the only one using the barrier several times. Maybe have an efect in the body? Like he spend all his sp but the barrier sped up the regen of sp thus it was like several days of training in 12 hours? That will explain how he have huges amount of mana.

      1. On the other hand it may be like Makoto and Cain in WM, were one sucks at using spirits and the other is a beast at it (maybe he is the only one who choose spirits love/affection. And seeing how the darkness spirit is simmilar to a girl (Dia i´m seing you) it would not surprise me if he ends up in a simmilar situation to Takatsuki

        1. I dont think the great dark spirit is like Dia (she loved Makoto) maybe she wanted to kill him so he can become a spirit like her?(Yandere spirit?) Hykaru told that she gave him a really bad feling.

        2. Oh yea they told as well that there is others like Makoto that can use spirit arts so i doubt is the skill what is broken. Maybe he just lvl up fast because he keep using all his SP and inside the barrier(in games safe spots gave buff of exp or similar benefits when you stay in those) when he was practicing the magic inside.

    1. We have “Innocent until proven guilty” for a reason. These people are using a debunked urban legend as proof for him being the culprit. It’s not even like they have solid proof they’re just hating on him for the sake of hating on him.

  4. > DAMN BASTARD! I should have been the one to go. I seriously want to kill him for taking away my right.

Culprit found… Why the heck he is casually posting on social media.

Damn Hikaru, you are blessed to have those little sisters.😂 Probably, Hikaru is super depressed right now. I really hope he will read supporting messages later. Seriously, do your job police. Capture the culprit. Save Hikaru. Thanks for the chapter.

    1. When i read that i thought “People, there is culprit and then the next message that was like, yeah i understand but it is what it is” and i said, why, why it needs to be that accurate to how the internet works

  5. Thanks for the chapter! I just hope that he will be able to talk with his family somehow and find some comfort, or else he is going to go insane

    1. I hope too he will get a glimmer of hope, but for the insanity it might already be too late with how he said in the narrative last chapter that after seeing the album photo was the moment he “broke”.

  6. This kinda reminds me of the slime tensei wn comment section. One guy kept spamming and replying to other comments the same thing, “YOU GUYS ARE ALL IDIOTS CANT YOU SEE RIMURU IS THE SEVENTH DRAGONAND VELDORA IS HIS YOUGER BROTHER AND THE SAGE SKILL IS HIS WIFE YOU ARE ALL SO BLIND I TOLD YOU SO”.
Not commenting, mind you. Replying. To all the comments.

  7. …hey they didn’t catch the culprit so the only one it could be is mister world hopper afterall the media was right there how could a killer escape.
Also …..later while the media was still around someone set fire to their house next door and got away with no suspects.
Wow I wonder if someone could commit a crime in that area without getting caught dispite not getting sent to another world if only we had something to support that being possible

      1. He’s sarcastically exposing the fact that since it was easy to put Hikaru’s house on fire and not get caught, it should also be possible to escape from a murder scene in the same area without being caught. The Antis’ conclusion that there’s no way another suspect could get away is flawed taking into account this fact.

  8. So the knife is no where to be found and he didn’t bring the knife to the isekai…
Sounds like a clear not-guilty verdict to me. He wouldn’t have had the time to hide the knife somewhere the cops would never find it.

  9. Author really captures the feeling of how antis always seem to be the ones to ruin things. Still, possibility the murderer got transferred could explain why he still isn’t found

  10. thank you so much Reigokai-sama :3
that comment board really does show what happens irl… Kinda sad..

P.S: Cheesecake’s been long in the refrigerator, and got so busy teaching young cakes.

  11. I get the feeling the criminal was in the comments section, the more I reread the more I am convinced that anonymous person going on a tirade in the comments related to Hikaru might be him, man that author left quite a foreboding thing there, I am surprised none of these anons noticed he was lurking.

Refer to this: 182: Anonymous from Earth

DAMN BASTARD! I should have been the one to go. I seriously want to kill him for taking away my right.

    1. I know the internet like the back of my head and I can tell between a troll or a psychopath, been in these threads many times over the years it became something natural to me lol.

  12. Comment 182 belongs to the murderer doesn’t it?

I also have a feeling Hikaru got the transfer for the lols the god would get looking at the culprit strong how victim disappear.

I also get the feeling godly luck (given by god) helped the culprit escape so both the culprit will simmer in how rage for God to laugh at, and the pressure to affect Hikaru to amusingly break (amusing to God, that is)

  13. Thanks for the chapter!
That’s exactly why I like those bb chapters, they give you perspective and are so damn realistic!
And the author finally introduced the sisters. Wait and see, guys, you should definitely have your eyes on them

  14. Now I wonder which gullible sap the antis are going to send after him? Also will he ever show his face one stream again? I wonder if he’ll just exist as a dark screen for the remainder of his extra long life. Whatever happens I’m once again angry at antis.

    Thanks for the chapter!

  15. Thanks for the chapter!

I appreciate the good work as always. Here are some things I spotted though.

    >Even the fingerprints. He was his boyfriend, so they should be everywhere.
I believe this should be “He was her boyfriend”.

The rest I believe are more subjective but I’ll put them here in case you think they are better.

    >Is there a single human being that wasn’t watching their TV and PCs?
“Is there a single person that wasn’t in front of their TV or PC?”
Using human being is slightly awkward here. And using watching for PC is also a bit awkward.

    >The ones who still think Hikaru is the culprit after seeing that reaction should get their human license revoked.
This one is hard in my opinion. I think humanity would be a better word to use. Or something along the lines of “…seeing that reaction are not human” or perhaps “…seeing that reaction are inhuman”.
I thought about it a bit and I have decided to propose.
“…seeing that reaction should no longer be considered human.”

    >There’s no way the Great Dark Mage would prepare such an album, right? Think realistically. Redo *chuunibyou*.
I think “redo chuunibyou” is a bit hard to understand too. I would propose:
“Put yourselves in the shoes of a chuunibyou.”

Those are the ones that bugged me so I have listed them all here. It is a lot of effort to translate, and I’m sure that you can’t catch all of these small things all the time, so I hope that this would be of help to you to make your translation quality even better.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

    1. Maybe in the case of “human license” it could be replaced by “human rights” with it being about them being unworthy of being considered human beings. Your last proposition could work too.

    2. Thanks! I really appreciate the detailed corrections you gave out.

As for a bit of my own opinions on the corrections:

      >Is there a single human being that wasn’t watching their TV and PCs?
I decided to keep the “single human being” to put more emphasis on the words cause ‘is there a single person’ doesn’t sound as powerful. I did change the ‘watching’ for ‘in front’ though. Never really had a clear understanding of ‘watching’ xD.

      >The ones who still think Hikaru is the culprit after seeing that reaction should get their human license revoked.

Someone already responded to that one. This is more of a ‘it is the internet, so you analyze what I mean on your own’.

      >There’s no way the Great Dark Mage would prepare such an album, right? Think realistically. Redo *chuunibyou*

I really did think that sentence was a bit awkward. I have changed it to ‘Go back and redo your chuunibyou’. It should give more understanding. I want to keep the “redo” bit because the change you gave sounded a bit too polite when the one commenting really isn’t trying to be polite here.

In most of these cases, it is mostly summed up with ‘it is people of the internet having a discussion’. The words you change them to are a bit too formal or streamlined for netizens. They will come up with weird words and will be rude by using broken language.
Though I say that, it doesn’t mean I didn’t appreciate you pointing out all that stuff. I really liked your comment and it helped me out. Thanks!

  16. Hmm… I feel weird commenting on a comment chapter.

Anyways the author really got the feel of people talking over the internet right. You got your sympathetic people who are having rational discussions. You got your creepy people who are talking about stuff like how cute the sisters are or how their hearts skipped a beat when seeing “Hikaru-kyun” crying. You got your raging assholes who only post to spew hate or how jealous they are that their “right” was stolen from them. And lastly you got your clueless people who just post that they don’t get what’s going on or let things go over their heads. Like where there was somebody who kept posting about how much he hates Hikaru and that he stole his right to get isekai’d while also saying that Hikaru is totally guilty, some guy just goes, “Yeah I get you man but it is what it is.” and doesn’t even wonder if maybe that guy is the murderer who’s just lurking on the chat boards.

On another note, man those are some super smart sisters. One knows 3 languages while the other knows 8 and they are fluent enough in them to answer questions in those languages during a livestream.

  17. If the murderer is meticulous enough to not leave evidence after the act.

He/she would also be smart enough to imprint the mc’s fingerprint on the murder weapon.

I really hope that the MC can be proven innocent.

  18. why not ask the god ?? how much points do hikaru need to get his childhood friend back or atleast show the killer’s name looks and info in the internet

  19. Thanks for the chapter, from all that chatter, what I enjoyed the most is how obvious the culprit is, even better because if one doesn’t know him and his motivation it can be easely missed.

  20. Thank you for the chapter!

These reactions are so natural. It’s amazing how well the author pulled this off. The only point clearly abnormal is the geniality of his little sisters. I guess having the capability to speak eight different languages helps tremendously on the translation effort, but still, aren’t they too OP?

  21. The comments are realistic, but why is nobody talking about the fact that the mc died with her childhood friend in “earth”. They could easily determine the mc unguilty of killing her childhood friend just by the fact that he also died in the scene. I mean, no matter how you think about it, the mc killing himelf doesn’t make any sense at all, this way you could easily conclude that an third-party is involved in the scene.

I hope the author touches this point later in the story, because the only conclusion I could come to is that the mc got “framed”, which basically doesn’t make any sense.

      1. The forbidden medias of insanity and chaos
Reddit, Threads of Extreme Echo Chamber
Twitter, Cesspool of Toxicity, Hatred, and Cancellation
        4Chan, 4Chan
And the worst part is that these things actually happen. Guilty till proven Innocent. The Extremist Loud Minority will always be at the frontline to make everybody else’s day become bad. Its fucking nuts.

  22. They better get divine retribution, especially that guy who killed nanami-chan… A special broadcast about his life just like the Chosens but on Earth. It would be funny seeing him being chased by Hikaru fans.

  23. God: How interesting! I should send that killer to the parallel world as well and make him super OP, to pose as the main villain.

  24. The murder weapon being missing and only 1 item can be brought over. That’s a pretty valid point.
But, haters gonna hate, players gonna play.
Reminds me of BTS Mic Drop

  25. Well it was foolish for him to expect anything but the god is evil too because he enabled chat just to fuck with him while he is high and vulnerable.

If he realised nothing some fools a world away say matters he would have saved himself the useless self inflicted psychological trauma.

  26. I have one question for the Japanese Police:
The murder weapon is missing. The blood of the supposed culprit should also have been in the room and, bleeding like that, there is no way he could leave the room without leaving a trail, which means he was sent to a different world right in this room… He didn’t take the knife with him either… And yet he still is the culprit?

  27. The culprit being this hard to find makes me suspect that it might be the doing of God. I can’t possibly imagine a high school student having the ability to pull of this perfect crime and not being found by the police.

    1. well as long he sneaked out, no witnesses or cams. as well took then cleaned/destroy the knife he pretty much golden legally. at worst he could be presumed the culprit if there no knife to tie him to the murder.

  28. -182: Anonymous from Earth

DAMN BASTARD! I should have been the one to go. I seriously want to kill him for taking away my right.

    Suspicious…

  29. Wow… My hate for freedom of though in internet is increasing…. I hope the government will making that if you need to use a internet then you need to enter you own ID.

    1. well this is a god’s board, i kinda of wish he filtered the incoming messages better to MC, because that was just wrong.

  30. This chapter was definitely one of my fav so far, that guy saying “^idiot” twice made me laugh out loud in public
